The Vainstream Rockfest is a music festival in the Hansaviertel not far from the Halle Münsterland. It takes place annually on the last weekend of June or the first weekend of July.

On several stages you can see acts from metal, punk, hardcore punk, hip hop and related styles. Examples are: Donots, Bullet for My Valentine, Parkway Drive, Beatstakes, The Offspring, Sum 41, Dropkick Murphys, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, K.I.Z., Casper, Asking Alexandria, Being as an Ocean, Any Given Day, Sondaschule, Caliban, Bury Tomorrow, Apologies, Lionheart, Stick to Your Guns and many, many more.

Vainstream started in July 2006 as a one-day event. Even back then, the organizers were able to get well-known artists and bands like Bullet for My Valentine and Caliban as main acts. In 2009, the festival was held over two days for the first time, which allowed the number of acts to double compared to previous years. As a result, the festival is able to attract tens of thousands of visitors year after year. For several years, there has also been a livestream of selected bands.
